• American Farmland Trust (after a nationwide vote) named the Davis Farmer’s Market as “America’s Favorite Large Farmers Market” (2009)
• Davis named to host the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame (2009)
• Davis residents boast the highest level of education in the state with more than 80 percent of the adult population completing a minimum of one year of college training and more than 60 percent having attained at least a four-year college degree.
